The long-awaited decision: the National Securities and Stock Market Commission of Ukraine announces the resumption of capital and commodity markets
The respective NSSMC decision No. 1053 was adopted on 4 August 2022.
The resumption of activities includes the fund & asset management industry, with some limitations due to the martial law and the renewed russian aggression with the full-scale invasion of Ukraine and subsequent criminal russian war.
The decision is effective as of Monday, 8 August. The previous decision No. 144 (with amendments) is repealed.
All normal operations of both investment and pension funds and their asset managers are therefore allowed again starting today, except for the open-ended and interval collective investment institutions that can resume their activities as from 22 August.
